My wonderful husband is taking me to see Dolly Parton in October. I have always wanted to see her in person. I've read her book and I just think she is amazing. Saw her interview on "The Tonight Show" the other day and it was hilarious, apparently in the early 80s in California she entered a Dolly Parton look-a-like contest and she didn't even place. I can't wait for the concert!!

Yay!!! Where is she going to be performing :) That's too funny about losing her own look alike contest!! I wonder if she ever told them that she was the real deal?
She said she never told them, but later told it in interviews!! Said they were out enjoying the evening and didn't want to spoil it. She is going to be in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Was going to try to see her in Dallas, TX, but that was during the week.
